I want to take a moment to personally thank you for coming to our section of the Town website. We are constantly working to improve the ways we can best serve you and would appreciate any feedback you have to offer.
First know that this is only one of the many resources at your disposal as a visitor to the Agawam Senior Center. Here on the town website you will find a brief overview of what we have to offer. Be sure to check out all the various resources on our pages, and know that if you have any questions we are only a phone call away.
If you have not attended the Agawam Senior Center before, you probably have not heard me say "make sure you check-in!" It is important that we know who is coming to our Senior Center so that we can report our numbers to all the parties we are responsible to including, the town, grant providers, and you the consumer of our services. We currently have the ability for you to "check-in" via a touch screen computer located at both reception areas as you enter the building. Please be sure to stop by one of these locations when you come to the center to let us know what you are attending.
In addition it is important to register for some of our events in advance. These programs, such as lunch, specifically note so in our newsletter. Currently you can register for lunch at the touch-screens or by calling a day before; and for all other programs by contacting us at 413-821-0604 ext. 0.
If you would like to join the center as a "member" and have a key-tag available for you upon your first visit, please use our New "Membership" Form. We call this our membership form, but please know that we do not charge a fee to belong to the Agawam Senior Center; some of our programming does require a fee to enjoy. You can get a more detailed list of programs in our newsletter, the Agawam Senior Scene.
On behalf of all the staff at the Agawam Council on Aging, welcome to the Senior Center!
