The Town of Agawam, Chief Procurement Officer in consultation with the Department of Public Works Department hereby requests written applications and bids from qualified contractors and/or individuals that wish to be considered for hire for snow plowing services.  The Town will make one or more awards for contracts sufficient to cover the Town's requirements. The snow and ice season shall commence on November 15, 2018 and expire on April 30, 2019. All successful contractors/individuals are expected to have their equipment ready at the beginning of each season.    For the purposes of submitting an application you should be aware that it is impossible to predict how often and for how long equipment will be used in any given winter season.

If you would like to be considered by the Town of Agawam for its plowing program, please return the application with the bid pricing sheet,  the workmen’s compensation insurance affidavit, a W-9 form, tax compliance certification, a copy of valid driver’s license for each driver, a copy of current vehicle registration, a Certificate of Insurance, and the signed copy of the snow plowing agreement by November 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM to the DPW Annex at 1000 Suffield Street, Agawam, MA  01001.
