    The Agawam Cultural Council is meeting on February 20, 2018, Tuesday, 7 pm at the Agawam Public Library, 750 Cooper Street, Agawam, MA. The meeting is open to the public. If you have an interest in providing diverse cultural events for the town, a great opportunity exists with the Agawam Cultural Council (ACC). This all-volunteer organization, appointed by the mayor and funded, in part, by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, is looking for new members. The ACC is charged with bringing engaging, entertaining, and educational events and opportunities in the arts, humanities, and sciences, to children and adults from Agawam and the surrounding communities. There is no cost to join or serve.

  2. Agawam Cultural Council Sponsors SHAKESPEARE & COMPANY'S PERFORMANCE

    February 27, 2018, 9:20 AM - 10:50 AM @ Agawam High School

    SHAKESPEARE & COMPANY will perform Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Agawam High School on February 27, 2018, at 9:20 AM. The play will finish around 10:50 AM. The actors will then offer a 15-minute Q & A to the audience. Students will then attend a 90-minute workshop. The Agawam Cultural Council does not charge for the program; however, seats must be reserved in advance and, for security reasons, names will be checked before admission to the school. Guests must arrive by 9:00 AM to be seated. The high school will reserve between 25 - 50 parking spaces close to the school for public parking.
