SHEDS
All sheds must be anchored.
A shed that is 400 sq. ft. or less, can be anchored with an anchoring kit.
A shed that is over 400 sq. ft. must be anchored on a cement slab (4" thick) or cement sono tubes (4' deep).
If a shed is 65' back from the front property marker it can be as closed as 5' from the side property line and 5' from the rear property line.
If a shed is less than 65' back from the front property marker it must be at least 15' from the side property line and 20' from the back property line.
POOLS
Above Ground Pools:
All pools must be 65' back from the front property marker and 10' from the side property line and 10' from the rear property line. It must also be at least 10' from the foundation of the house.
If the pool is not 65' back from the front property marker it must be at least 15' from the side property line and 20' from the rear property line.
The ladder leading up to the pool must have a self-closing locking gate at the top of the stairs which swings out over the stairs, or a retractable ladder must have a locking device on it.
REMOVABLE LADDERS, OR LADDERS THAT FOLD UP, ARE NOT ALLOWED BY STATE LAW UNLESS FENCED IN WITH REQUIRED FENCING AND WITH A SELF-CLOSING LOCKING GATE.
A deck attached to an above ground pool must be at least 5' from the rear property line and 5' from the side property line as long as the pool is 65' back from the front property marker. If the pool is not 65 'back from the front property marker the deck must then be 15' from the side line and 20' from the rear line.
In Ground Pools:
The pool must be at least 10' from the side property lines, 10' from the rear property line and 10' from the foundation of the house. This is measured from the water line.
The pool must be fenced in or the yard must be fenced in with self-closing locking gate.
ANY POOL WHICH IS NOT FENCED IN, AROUND THE IMMEDIATE POOL AREA, MUST HAVE ALARMS AT ALL DOORS LEADING OUT TO THE POOL AREA.
Any property with a septic system, must contact the Health Department, for their requirements on pool installations.
