BOOKTALK WITH AUTHOR AMY LIPTAK CARUSO

Author of The Black Squirrel Ball

Wednesday, March 31st at 7:00

In The Black Squirrel Ball, professionally frustrated Samantha Cummings quits her mediocre financial services job to coordinate the 40th Black Squirrel Ball.  Little did she know, she would also be facilitating an investigation of the 40 year-old mysterious death of Pauli Suarez, the co-chair of the original ball at Peaceland Park.

Although Peaceland Park is fictional, it is easily recognizable as Westfield’s Stanley Park.  Local author Amy Liptak Caruso comes from a family that has a long history with the park.  Her grandfather was one of the original caretakers.  She has combined family stories, local history and her creative imagination to create her first novel.

Please call 789-1550 or visit the Agawam Library to register.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
