6/17/2010 - Adult Summer Reading Program Information and Event Schedule




The Agawam Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program is for patrons 18 and over.

BEGIN reading on June 28th and continue through August 20th.


Read or listen to a book checked out on your own card, from the Agawam Library.  Fill out a Review Slip and place it in the seashell on the Fiction Kiosk. (Review Slips will be posted each week near the Kiosk.)  Completed Review Slips will be drawn in a raffle on August 23rd at 5:30, for prize bags worth $20-$25!  The more you read the more chances you have of winning one of 20 prizes!



Sign up at the Information Desk beginning June 1st, or call 789-1550 x109.  Receive a free raffle ticket for each one of the programs you attend.

July 20    7:00 Make a Family Folklore book with Jeannie Hunt

Aug. 3     7:00 Letterboxing, Geocaching & Stamp Carving – Henry & Carol Perrault

Aug.18    7:00 Summer’s End Reading –Original works written by the Creative Writing Class

Aug. 23   5:30 Raffle at the SRP Kiosk


Also:  Sit & Knit- Adult Drop in Knitting Group meets every Tuesday 1:00-3:00
