The Agawam Public Library is pleased to have artwork by Donna Dubreuil Favreau exhibited on the gallery walls for the month of September. This exhibit will feature oils, oil monotypes, award winning pastels and candid portraits. One of her award winning pastels, “Striped Chairs” will be on display, along with an honorable mention pastel called “Sorrento Fishing Boats”. Other paintings from her recent trip to Southern Italy
will be included in this exhibit.
After teaching oil painting for 12 years at several senior centers in CT, Donna has retired to her studios in Longmeadow and Westbrook, CT to work with new mediums. Donna is a member of the Art Guild of Middletown, CT, the ACA Studio 53 of Meriden, CT, and junior member of the Clinton Art Society. She has exhibited at the “Arts Alive Program: at Baystate Medical Center in past years.
Her artistic drive is quoted this way, “Nature and people excite me. I bring my camera everywhere I go composing my next painting, waiting to interpret my vision in paint!”
