AUTHORTALK WITH BOB STEELE
Former Connecticut Congressman Bob Steele will visit the APL on Monday, March 18th at 7:00 to discuss his novel, The Curse: Big Time Gambling’s Seduction of a Small New England Town. The novel is set against the casino gambling explosion that hit Connecticut during the 1990’s, when the Mashantucket Pequots and the Mohegans build the world’s two largest casinos within eight miles of each other. The story revolves around a family’s battle to stop developers from building a third casino that threatens the family’s town and ancestral home.
