The Agawam Public Library will be holding a six week workshop entitled “Old Bones Genealogy.” The presenter will be Dave Robison. All sessions are on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., and the dates are July 11,
July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15. Participants should plan on attending all six sessions.
Attendees will have the opportunity to dig into their past and add branches to their family tree. A different topic with questions and answers will be presented each week. The topic of week one will be the basics of researching. The presentation of week two will be research tools. Becoming a genealogy detective will be the discussion of week three. On week four the topic will be refining skills. The presentation of week five will be interview-jogging memories-fill gaps, and the sixth discussion will be breaking down brick walls.
This program is for adults only. Please register at (413)-789-1550 x4 or www.agawamlibrary.org.
