7/30/2013 - Agawam Public Library Summer Reading Program Presents - 82nd Airborne Division’s 505th Regimental Combat Team Re-enactors

On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., the Agawam Public Library will host a group of World War II re-enactors who portray the 82nd Airborne Division’s 505th Regimental Combat Team.

The regiment will provide an encampment display, complete with artifacts, equipment, personal G.I. items, chocolate bars, stockings, period music, and radio broadcasts. 

This non-profit organization strives to accurately preserve the past.  They are a New England Unit that participates in tactical scenarios, parades, demonstrations, and displays.  For more information please visit their website at www.505thrct.com.
