The Agawam Cultural Council’s popular Applause Series continues its twelfth season on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Agawam Senior Center when Jimmy Mazz presents his Las Vegas Legends tribute show.

Las Vegas Legends is a musical journey through Jimmy’s favorite songs by a wide variety of performers from the yesterday’s classics to today's contemporary artists hot off the Las Vegas Strip. Jimmy’s high energy and enthusiasm is tempered only by his ultra smooth vocals as he croons the voices of tunes from the Rat Pack and Nat King Cole, then quickly moves on to glide through his impressions of Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdinck, Tony Orlando, Bobby Darin, Lou Rawls, Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli and Neil Diamond. He’ll make sure to stop and focus on “The King,” Elvis Presley with a very amusing parody, but he keeps moving & crooning, covering the greats like Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Durante, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Michael Buble, and maybe even “The Boss,” Bruce Springsteen. And be sure that in typical Jimmy Mazz style, there will be a few surprises thrown in for good measure. It’s never the same show twice.

The Agawam Senior Center is located at 954 Main Street in Agawam, Massachusetts and can be reached by phone at (413) 821-0604. This and all Applause Series events are free and open to the public.

Additional information on each of the Applause Series events is available at the Agawam Cultural Council web site, www.agawamcc.org
