Dúo Fusión’s Sarah Swersey and Joe Belmont Bring Global Perspective
to Agawam Cultural Council’s Popular Applause Series
The twelfth season of the Agawam Cultural Council’s popular Applause Series continues on Friday, February 5, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Agawam Public Library with an adventurous and enchanting concert by Dúo Fusión.
Flutist Sarah Swersey and guitarist Joe Belmont create exquisite sounds that soar all over the musical map — from J.S. Bach to Astor Piazzolla, Miles Davis to Gabriel Fauré, Spanish flamenco to Andes folk songs to surf guitar frenzy. Sarah’s dazzling classical playing and Joe’s extraordinary jazz chops, combine for a very memorable musical experience.
The Agawam Public Library is located at 750 Cooper Street in Agawam, Massachusetts and can be reached by phone at (413) 789-1550. This and all Applause Series events are free and open to the public.
Additional information on each of the Applause Series events is available at the Agawam Cultural Council web site, www.agawamcc.org.
