1/6/2017 - ACC continues its popular Applause Series with CO2 - Acoustic Rock Duo

CO2 Brings Harmony to the New Year

Acoustic rock duo presents evening of musical favorites

The new year starts in a harmonious manner when the Agawam Cultural Council presents the acoustic rock duo CO2 – comprised of Mike Scott & Mark Wassung — who bring their smooth harmonies to the Agawam Senior Center on Friday, January 6, 2017. The concert is the latest offering in this thirteenth season of the council’s popular Applause Series.

Vocalist Mike Scott and guitarist/vocalist Mark Wassung are CO2 — a captivating pair beloved by old and young alike. Known for beautifully blended harmonies, Scott and Wassung will perform hits from the Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel, Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond and others. True crowd pleasers, CO2 will have you singing along and dancing to all your favorite songs!

Raised in musical families, Wassung and Scott have been around music their entire lives, and have more than three decades of experience in front of audiences.

Motivated by the love and enjoyment of music, they have performed together as CO2 for the past six years at venues throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. The duo’s success continues to grow, and this show will demonstrate the reasons why.

The Agawam Senior Center is located at 954 Main Street in Agawam, Massachusetts and can be reached by phone at (413) 821-0604. This and all Applause Series events are free and open to the public.

Additional information on each of the Applause Series events is available at the Agawam Cultural Council web site, www.agawamcc.org.

The Agawam Cultural Council is an all-volunteer local partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and is funded, in part, by the MCC.  The ACC is charged with bringing engaging, entertaining, and educational events and opportunities in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences, to children and adults from Agawam and the surrounding communities.
