Drop Off Box Information
Located – Two drop off boxes are conveniently located at the entrance of the Town Hall front doors and a drive through drop box on the left side near flag poles. (Available 24/7)

- Bills that can be paid using the drop off box - real estate, personal property, water/sewer charges, excise tax and any other taxes or fees the collector/treasurer’s office processes.
-Please do not use cash, other forms of payment accepted are check, money order or bank check
-Processing Time - same day unless dropped off after 4:30 p.m. then it will be processed the following
business day.
- Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you require a receipt.
-24 hour drop off. Bills with a due date must arrive by 4:30 p.m. on the due date to be processed
that day or they will be considered late and processed the following business day.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Treasurer's department is charged with receiving and accounting for all the monies belonging to the town, processing town and school payrolls, initiating temporary and permanent borrowing and performing other statutory functions required by the general laws. The Collector's department is responsible for the collection of real estate, motor vehicle excise, personal property, sewer assessments, water and sewer bills and any other money committed to the department for collection.-
