Overview
The Agawam Council on Aging - Senior Center is proud to announce that beginning July 1, 2018 we expanded the Transportation Program, now entitled "All Aboard!", to include Mondays; and we are operating pickups from 8:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
If you are a senior, or living with a disability; and you reside in Agawam, you are eligible to receive these services.
Priority rides include those to medical appointments, senior activities, and employment or volunteer opportunities. Non-priority rides are rides for any other purpose. Currently many non-priority trips include shopping centers and beauty salons.
A priority ride can be scheduled at any time as long as 48 hours minimum notice is provided. However, standing rides (regular and re-occurring rides) must be confirmed on a monthly basis, beginning on the 15th of the month prior.
Non-priority rides can be scheduled as early as the 15th of the month prior. Again a minimum of 48 hours notice is required when requesting rides.
It is recommended that Medical appointments are scheduled as soon as the appointment is booked to assure space and availability.
