The Town of Agawam announces that 5 Agawam residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The Town of Agawam announces that 5 Agawam residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Mayor Sapelli advises all residents to comply with Governor Baker’s Stay-At-Home Advisory and closure of non-essential businesses effective today March 24, 2020 at noon until April 7, 2020 at noon. It is crucial for residents to remain vigilant in this unprecedented environment and take every precaution to protect themselves, their family members and the community.

Mayor Sapelli thanks the health care workers and first responders for their commitment and sacrifice over the past several weeks and urges the community to show their support of front line workers by any safe means possible.
